Final Touches....

Completion is just around the corner! We are currently in the midst of final inspections. Once those are complete the City of Surrey will also do its own set of final set of final inspections and we will have occupancy!

Its has been 20 months of hard work and incredible effort by so many people! Below is a link to our video page; that is a video of some of the final tasks that were done a few weeks back.

The maple for our gym floor arrive on Friday, June 9 and we will commence final installing of the wood floor in the next coming weeks. We are excited to be at the occupancy stage and are looking forward to a exciting new 2012/2013 school year in our new building!

Cyprus Ski Trip

Grade 8-11 Cypress Mountain Snowboard/Ski Field Trip - Thursday, January 26th.

We will be leaving the school at 7:00AM sharp and returning by 6:30 or 7:00PM.

Payments are due to BCA by Monday, January 16th.

Hot Lunch

Hot Lunch, Causal Day and Recycling for grades K-7 will be on Friday, January 27th.

Construction Update

In a recent update from Brother Kim, the next few weeks are going to be busy. The HVAC units installed, city electrical hookup, finalizing sprinklers, boiler room commencement…all this happening in the next coming week or two ahead.

Current tasks for volunteers are listed below:

• Painting
• Seismic requirements for tee-bar ceiling
• Air conditioning diffuser placement and connection to ducting

We appreciate all your support that you have given thus far!! We are almost there; if we can put our shoulder to the wheel we have a couple months left to go!
